Referencing a nostalgia for objects that are part of a bygone era, this cardboard tea set serves as a part histories of defining who we are or who we were. Why do we choose to keep and display the artefacts that we do? Do they serve a purpose or are they reflections of who we perceive ourselves to be? 

And what is left of us once we’ve gone?

Instead of featuring traditional landscape scenes as found on antique plateware, pen and ink scenes of urban and local landscapes have been drawn directly onto the cardboard surface. The functionality of cardboard as a material for these items is brought into question.
